Police And NAB Officials are Outside Shehbaz Sharif House


President of Pakistan Muslim League-N Shehbaz Sharif was supposed to appear in front of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) earlier today. The hearing was against money laundering case for which NAB officials have already prepared a questionnaire related to case.

To avoid any arrest Shehbaz Sharif has already moved a petition in Lahore High Court against charges of money Laundering upon him. He said in the petition that the incumbent government has initiated the money laundering case with ‘mala fide’ intentions. These are just allegation based on no fact.

His lawyer Azam Nazir Tara said that his client has already been showing his assets since he is in government service. The allegations of involvement in money laundering are just a fabricated story.

NAB had accused Opposition leader for developing assets from 1998 to 2918. NAB was also expecting a detailed summary of his bank statements and all details regarding properties from Shehbaz Sharif today on 2nd June.

But Opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif did not show up to NAB earlier today and now NAB officials and Police has reached outside his house in Model Town Lahore.

NAB can Question via Skype

Meanwhile a number of PML-N workers have reached outside his house to protest against the Arrest of Shahbaz Sharif. Shehbaz Sharif said that he is an old man and can pose a risk of coronavirus attack as the number of NAB officials are tested positive to pandemic disease of coronavirus. He said that the team of NAB can question him on skype to avoid any health risk.

He said he is not wishing to be ill or to pose to have a deadly disease of coronavirus.

It is also true that some of the NAB officials have gone through coronavirus test and results are positive for this respiratory disease.

PML-N workers are protesting against the actions of NAB. They said that Shehbaz Sharif has the right to say ‘NAB team can question him via skype’.
